HOW WE ARE BUILDING LIVES WITH STRONG FOUNDATIONS
Student Enrichment Program
Enrichment classes are designed to help improve the academic skills of children. The classes provide opportunities for poor children to learn about a variety of topics in fun and exciting ways. Topics include World of Wonders (Science Exploration Class), A Healthy Me (Health and Hygiene), Always Ready! (Disaster Preparedness), Tiwala Kids Honor Club (Value Formation Class), Expedition Earth (Culture and Geography Exploration Class). Classes are held in community halls inside slum villages and accommodate up to 30 students per session.
STEP classes offer a different learning experience for poor students and fill some gaps in the education that they receive from public schools.
